There's a place on Lafayette called "After the Paint" (or there was a few
years ago). It was run by a Cassilly I think. I believe it was 44 to
Kingshighway, north on Kingshighway to Lafayette, west on Lafayette.
They're about 1/4-1/2 mile down on the right. He had really odd hours like
8-12 on Thursday and Friday and 8-5 on Saturday.
Doors, windows, mantles, stone work, hardware -- a little bit of everything.

There use to be one on Euclid in the Central West End (north
of the Chase (1)) but that was way in the beginning of the
last decade of the last century. In other words, I haven't
lived there since then.
Salvage One in Chicago would probably be your next best bet.
It's a bit of a hike though.
(1) It probably hasn't been called The Chase (Park Plaza)
in the last 13 years.
