lol! Every barber I've ever been to has complained I have the
thickest, fastest growing hair they've ever seen. The ONE time I
had it shaved (college crap), it was such an itchy, maddening
experience; believe me, that's no way to get to YOUR envied
state! ;-}

Also: How come when one goes bald, they still have to shave?

For some reason God has decided that I need less hair on my head and
more in my nose and ears. He hasn't 'splained that one to me yet.

That's the problem with getting to be an old fart, hair stops growing
where you want it to grow, and it starts growing where you don't want
it to grow.

Let me make it clear I'm NOT an old fart... not yet anyway... maybe in
30 years or so.

A comedian called "Bobcat" explained that years ago... he said that it was
"mental floss".. *lol*

I sorta like having my hair. I don't worry about the things you
mention - flying around in the wind, hat hair and so on. And it keeps
the 'ol cranium a little warmer. It also gives my scalp something to
do - grow more hair. But if I lost it, I won't go searching for a way
to get more. I rather spend money on tools and lumber. And of course
using the tools to convert that lumber into something nice.

Next door neighbor to girlfriend in HS had to shave every day at
noontime after shaving in the morning. Fortunately they lived a half
block from school.

No kidding. You don't know true freedom until you can get out of bed in
the morning and style your hair in under 10 seconds using a damp
facecloth. }:O)

<gloat>
Besides, SWMABO likes that "I've got more face to sit on". Her words.
