Woodcraft in Raleigh,NC

I was wondering how long this store has been here. I asked the sales
clerk - he said he had no idea, but that this was only his second day on
the job.

Does anyone know? (By the way, it's a nice looking store with an
attached shop where they teach courses.)

about 6 - 10 months. that makes the 3rd WW store within driving
distance of the Triangle. Yep, store is nicely laid out and fairly well
stocked.

yep, that's the 3rd one and it's on the way to the Hardwood Store so it
makes for a great trip! there is some other place that sells larger
power tools but i have not found them very friendly. They are in
Raleigh but I do not remember the name.

YES! that's the one. just one time for me. I don't even remember if
they carried hand tools or not. No conversation, lots of one word
answers. Went there when I was looking for my Unisaw, bought it from
the Woodworking Shop (Klingspor) on Capitol.

I haven't even made it into the Woodcraft Store yet, no way I'm
gonna drive to Burlington.

My last tool purchase was in the Big Lots in Smthfield. Four 12"
bar clamps for $8 - a lot better made than some I've seen selling for
way over twice that price.

yeppie, Tarheel Filing. Maybe that is why they were so grumpy - someone
took all their files.

I think it opened about a year ago...I had been there several times before
Christmas last year.

I also took a class there a few months ago...they've got a nice setup.
