St. Catharines area: any interest in starting a ww group?

I was wondering if there was anyone in the St. Catharines (or
surrounding areas) that might be interested in starting a woodworking
group? I know many communities have groups and I would like to
determine the level of local interest. We could approach commuinty
centers or local highschools/colleges for space for meetings. As well,
we could tour each others shops once in awhile and have hands-on
meetings to work on techniques/projects.

I am definitely interested in setting something up as well as perhaps
developing a local tool swap rag for members. Perhaps some of you more
seasoned pros with equiped shops might want to pass on some tricks to
some of us amateurs? I would like to see a collection of amateurs,
professionals, and occassional hobbyists to have a good mix of focus.

Please contact me if you have any remote interest in this area of
Niagara...

Thanks.
Andrew.

Have you been to Art's Tools? Perhaps there is already a group in the St.
Catharine's area. I am from NOTL and would like to get started in
woodworking
