Unisaw for Christmas

My wife thought I was good this year and bought me the Unisaw that I wanted
for Christmas (Kwanza, Birthday, anniversary..etc). I had taken vacation
between Christmas and New Years in hopes that I could set it up and play
with it. In a strange twist of fate, Central Ohio had an ice storm and
250,000 AEP costumers lost power for a few days. My power went out on
wednesday before Christmas and did not return until Monday...I should have
got a generator instead.

The saw is still in the crate in the middle of my garage.

I purchased the 36-830 Left tilt and I would like to get a cast iron
extension table for the Right side and an overhead blade guard. I really
cant wait to hear it run.

I hope everyone else got what they asked for too.

Happy New Year.

Rick

Thanks Dave,
I bought the saw at wood werks. They just sent me a flier and put the saw
on sale $50.00 less than I got it for.
I live near pataskala at sr 40 and sr310 and it looked like a bomb went off.
The strange green flashes of transformers exploding with the ice falling
from the sky left a Christmas memory that I will never forget.

You must be in east central ohio. I live in west central Ohio and we didn't
get any of the ice, just a coupla feet of snow! Fortunately, no loss of
electricity here. I drove over to to the east side-Wood Werks in Gahanna -
last monday and couldn't believe how cool all the trees (and everything
else) looked, kinda like they were made of glass. Enjoy the new
