Seriously, look into Lumberjocks. There is a LOT of woodworking stuff there=
. You don't have to jump to another site to see completed projects. It is m=
oderated so only woodworking discussions are allowed. I like Marc Spagnolo =
(WoodWhisperer) a lot, but you have to understand that he runs a business.=
Most of what he offers is free but often, things like plans are not. His F=
riday morning live videos are free, but to get a question answered you migh=
t find you need to pay a small amount ($1-x dollars). I am a member of his =
guild and that was because I bought a plan, you become a member for life an=
d there is a lot of good stuff there as well.
Also, look at Stumpy Nubs website. The man is just a lot of fun and offers =
up tool reviews, plans, etc.=20
Finally, head on over to Woodworking for Mere Mortals. Steve Ramsey is beco=
ming a treasure. While many of his projects are not "fine" woodworking, the=
y tend to be more "weekend hobby" things, but he is funny and offers up goo=
d advice no matter how expensive your tools are.
