DoD Identifies Marine Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine
who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Lance Cpl. Marcus S. Glimpse, 22, of Huntington Beach, Calif.,
died April 12 as the result of an improvised explosive device while
conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to
1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine
Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
