That chair was in the Smithsonian Renwick Gallery (the one behind the
White House) along with several other interesting pieces last summer.
It'll be nice to see them all in the same place.

Looks like the exhibit will be in the Renwick gallery since the
American Art Museum is closed until 4 July 04 for renovation. The
Renwick is behind the Old Executive Office Building and the White House
off of 17th NW. Closest Metro stop would be the one on K street that
would be a couple block walk. Here's a direct link to the exhibit.
