My wife has a sewing machine that takes up a 5'x 11' space in her
sewing studio. The one in the picture is probably for sewing the top,
middle, and bottom layers of large items like quilts or bed comforters.
That is what hers does.

Sewing leather ? - thin leather for clothing can be sewn
on a normal home sewing machine.
Saddle bags - not !

No information about what that machine does. The nameplate is too poorly
photographed to read the model designation. Large industrial sewing
machines are all very specialized (instead of general purpose like a
home machine). It might be button holer or a chain stitcher or .... If
your SO wanted it, she'd probably want a bunch of different ones. (Just
like you'd want a shop with more than just a planer.)
