Save Jericho!

please join me and others to support and save Jericho show, should
this show be wiped out on air? this show offers a perfect portrayal of
modern family. The Save jericho campaign was made to make our voices
louder for CBS to hear us. Check it out and tell your family and

The ratings system worked fine in 1987 but this is 2007. The problem
is with the ways people were watching Jericho true viewership was not
represented with the traditional Nielsen system. After online (legal)
and DVR viewing was tabulated Jericho ratings went up 10%. There are
numerous news stories talking about how the Nielsen system is
outdated. Most of the articles were brought about because of the NUTS
to CBS campaign.

For example: http://mediabiz.blogs.cnnmoney.com/2007/06/07/the-nuts-save-jericho/

"
The renewal of "Jericho" also underscores that there is more to TV
viewership than what the Nielsen ratings tell us. As more and more
people watch their favorite shows when they want thanks to TiVo (TIVO)
and other digital video recorders as well as through sites like
Apple's (AAPL) iTunes and the networks' own Web sites, looking just
at the "live" Nielsen rating may not give networks a true impression
of how popular a show is.

"

Jericho was renewed because the fns did not stop till CBS listened.
CBS got over 20 TONS of nuts and the other media got behind the
movement. There have been two articles in the national enquirer (one
before and one after it was renewed), NYTimes as well as others.

Jericho re-runs start July 6th and I believe the new episodes start
filming in July also.

There was talk that TNT was thinking about Jericho on that network.
There were even a few people who suggested Jericho on the CW. But CBS
renewed it.

At least it is back.

The trees are in the high desert east of L/A.

For an old jar head, think "29 Palms"

That was the same show as Lost under a different colored filter.
Predictable and never intended to have an ending.

I gave up on Jericho because it seemed like some of the characters were too
stupid to breathe.
