Grizzly has a 6" extension for their G1019 and G0555 bandsaws. The =
extensions increase the cutting height by 6" to a full 12" for these =
saws. =20
Has any ever used these extensionss and if so are they any good??? =
particularly for resawing.
(My father inlaw makes violins and this would be helpful in cutting tone =
woods)

I have the 6" extension on my G1019. I had to grind off one of the
locating pins on the extension to get the saw in alignment, but other
than that it was fine. The extension allows for a maximum height of
11.5" under the blade guides.

They generally work well with a little tweaking after installation.
Bear in mind you will also have to buy new, longer blades and if =
resawing full height, a good quality resaw blade will be needed.
