Hard or Soft Maple for Trim?

I'm making a baby changing table from maple ply. What is best to use
for the trim? Soft or Hard maple?

Whichever you have on hand... :)

"Soft" maple is hard enough for the application. If you have some of
each, choose which makes the best match w/ the ply faces.
