I owe you a correction. I looked back at the history of my posts and saw
that I first qualified rural on 1/2. It was later on that same day that you
replied to my post. So - my use of the term "at the very outset" is at
best, inaccurate. That said - your phrase of "all along" is equally
inaccurate.
I have never taken this thread to the topic of in the city. There is one
simple reason for that - most cities have legislation that prohibits the
discharge of a firearm - period. I would not raise up any objection that
would fly in the face of that.
When those things do happen, they are a violation of a lot of different
things. They are violations of the law, of any form of gun safety (do inner
city thugs really study and care about gun safety, beyond shooting their own
nuts off?), and of any form of common sense. But then again, inner city
thugs are not commonly accused of an abundance of common sense.
