What are the wings of the TS3650 made of? I put a router into an old
rockwell tablesaw wing. It had cast iron wings with 1/2" ribs underneath.
Spend a considerable about of time using a drill and a circular cutting disk
to grind them about, but it ending up working out quite well, much better
than expected.

I have a Ridgid TS2424 that I added a router table to a few years ago. It was
intended for replacement of a steel wing but I decided to just add it outboard
of the left wing. I also constructed an additional wing out of oak and melamine
for the right side to give the saw symmetry. Finally, I built an outfeed table
that can fold down. It's become quite the beast but nothing sags and I love
having all the surface area.

I added this one to my TS3650:

I left the right hand cast iron extension on the saw and there was still
room for the router extension. You could also use the following but
would probably want to replace the right hand extension with it:

Isn't that first table a wood table. How does it fasten to the saw table?
