Ok, I admit it, I was searching for the hidden Halloween candy that SWMBO
has successfully put who know's where and what do I find instead?????
A Lee Valley box with an address label "ATTN: Andrea". PECULIAR!! It's
unopened (DRAT!), hence my dilemma. But, I did circle a few items very
overtly in the latest edition of tool porn sent to me by Robin Lee, so I
have my hopes. Namely, the new Veritas Scraper Plane.
So, do I risk opening and reclosing the box? I don't know if I can wait 2
months!!
Still, that's a kick butt SWMBO, eh? :)

Dear Mike,
Keep your mouth and the box closed. On "The Day" act surprised.
Signed,
Dear Abby.

Quietly take it to an airport and run it through an X-ray machine.
Andrea will never know!!! We won't tell her. ;-)

Here's wishing that swmbo packed a pair of soggy smelly socks for
you in the Lee Valley box and sent you looking for the halloween
candy :-)

No, but slip a suitable treat (chocolate, a dried flower, tickets to
the Cincinnatti Bengals) underneath the box for her to find.

Mike,
If you ever want her to place a _second_ order with Lee Valley, or any other
place for that matter, DO NOT open that box. She probably already knows you
found the box. Just how they know is beyond me but they _do_ know. Mom
always did, wife always does.
Besides, if you are like me, you really didn't need to find the candy stash
either.
