Back for a 5x7 picture frame.

I made a picture frame for my wife for mother's day (almost made
it...). I can make the back out of 1/8" birch, but thought that is
really overkill. Anybody know of a supplier for the standard cardboard
type backs for these with the little thing that swings out to support
it on a desk?

Thanks,
Jim

I don't know of a supplier, but I found a box of them on the street a
little while ago. 5x7 frame backs with supports plus the glass cover
pieces, all new condition. If you want 1 or a few, let me know, and
you can have them for the cost of shipping.

Do a Google search for "easel back".

Why don't you call a local portrait studio and ask where they get theirs?
If you need onlyone, maybe they'll sell it to you.

Why not make one? It sounds like a grade 5 project with cardboard and
a utility knife, and maybe some glue.
