Just for information, after mounting the 6" riser on my G0555, the
blade tension would not tighten the blade. I changed the bottom
spacer (moved it up) and finally was able to tension the blades.
Today I called Grizzly and they told me that they know about the
problem but have not written the fix into their manual. This is what
they told me.
1. Position the top spacer ¼" below the threads
2. Position the bottom spacer ¼" below the top of the quick release
bar
3. Tension the blade until there is only a 1/8" deflection when you
push in
the middle with the top bearing/blade guard moved up as far as
possible.
4. This will be the setting for this blade.
This is the same info I got from grizzly a while back. I also posted the
solution.
