I don't think you'll get sufficient suction without the resistance provided
by bags/filters.

Where do you live? There may be codes against pumping sawdust out like
that.
You are talking about an exterior cyclone system which can be placed outside
however, I recommend using a collection barrel on the cyclone vs pumping
sawdust into the open. Try pennstate industries for equipment and supplies.

That would be incorrect, in fact the suction would be greater and
non-deteriorating.

a point to concider!! you will also be exausting your heat and air
conditioning [ if you have it ] to the outside. also concider the
people living next door when the wind is blowing? sawdust all over
their new lexus might cause problems! you could use the bags that come
with the DC and build a small shed around it to keep the whether out.
