PC Dovetail jig and rambling

I'm planning on going to St. Louis thursday to Woodcraft to pick up the 12"
Porter Cable dovetail jig & the brass bushings for PC router. Sure would
like the Leigh but oh well. I have a VA dovetail jig I got about a year ago
and it is a joke. I sold my old Craftsman router & table today, so plan on
building a router table soon. Until I can afford the PC 7518 I believe is
the number I'll be putting the Bosch 1617EVS in it. I picked up a PC 9690LR
last week at lowes and plan on using it for freehand work and dovetails. I
see Rockler has a new store up there also, might (if SWMBO) lets me swing by
there & check it out. Also have to make a swing by White Castle and get some
slidders. hmmm
This past weekend I started building seperate cabinets for the benchtop
bandsaw and drill press but it was just to hot to stay out in the shop much
more then a hour. Here in S.E. Mo. the heat and humidity have been horrible.
Be glad when it cools off. After working out in the heat all day (tech at a
auto dealership) just don't have enough left to piddle in the shop in the
evenings. I guess enough rambling for now, everyone have a great day
tomorrow.

Before you get it at Woodcraft, be sure to give Hydraflow Equipment
(Breckenridge Industrial Drive) http://hydraflowequipment.com/ a call for
prices. They're usually cheaper on everything. There's also a White Castle
on Big Bend Blvd. not to far from Hydraflow. If you want something really
good, go about 2 miles west on Manchester and eat at the Trainwreck Saloon.
AWESOME hamburgers and good wings. Then you can get a sack of sliders for
the ride home.

Woodcraft is nice for looking and finding specialized stuff (sharpening,
carving, etc.) but pricewise for big name tools, I've had better luck at
Hydraflow but call first for prices.

BTW, how much is 4/4 walnut gonig for down your way?
