Cost to build a new shop in Northern California?

Going to be high, that's for sure. But, was up there visiting this spring,
and there were a lot of unemployed construction types kicking around, so you
might just kit and use the neighbors, bearing in mind why the name "grass"
valley is so appropriate.

Check with Meeks in YC for package prices. Will be a touch higher in price
than the chains, but I always thought they were also more consistent in
quality.

I used to visit Grass Valley often, way back when. Lived in Marysville
and graduated high school in Lindhurst. Been to Meeks before too.
Considering it's in Cali, it'll be high cost for sure.

Got a computer? Got a phone? Google up contractors in the Grass
Valley, Roseville, even Sacto area and ask them. Make sure you
call some in the actual town you plan to settle in, too. It can
make a big difference both in price and how you're accepted in
a small town, so think local.
