I DAG'd it and decided I'd rather get the opinion of the current crop of
participants in this ng. If y'all don't mind. I do respect the input.
I have acquired a shared lease on a 1250sq-ft (my part) shop after the
current occupants ( a few yachts and sailboats, spread across 2500
sq-ft, I'm to get half of that)
Reality tells me that I won't get that space till end of June, if I'm
lucky. A couple of those boats are to be sold before they move out.
Until then, I'm stuck in my garage/shop and need to address my dust
generation. the 2-1/2' stuff just don't cut it no-mo'.
I figure, up the wall it goes. Why waste floor space?
I also don't want to have to buy a DC twice. A 1000 CFM will be plenty
for my needs, but 5 micron max.... preferably 1 micron.... so I think
I'm talking about canisters?
Oh... here's a scary thought... the new place has 600 volt 3-phase....I
guess I'm in trouble now, eh? (Think used gear.)
Which direction to take? A big-ol' Onsrud overhead router..orrr some
slick-daddy style CNC stuff?
Life is good...firing on all cylinders.

The one condition left is that the owners produce the last 3 years of
heating bills. Natural gas, forced air.

I was used to 5000 sq-ft prior to retirement and after the 'Closet'..
1250 will feel about right for me and maybe 2 helpers down the road.

LOL...that 'ol' ticker' is in better shape than it was 30 years ago.
That was the only good thing to come out of retirement.. I finally got
to take care of myself.
If I felt any better, I'd get arrested.
