OK, SAW SLED IS DONE - WHAT COLOR TO PAINT IT?

OK, the saw sled is done. A lot heavier than it needed to be, but
that's mostly because of the thick stuff I used. Plug I used some 2X4
pieces to extend the front for the stop. And, had to glue a couple of
piecs on the back, as counter-balances, because of the extra weight in
the front. Works like a champ tho, so I'm not complaining.

So, now I'm taking a poll to find out what color to paint it.
After it's painted I'll post some pictures.

Got the cross brace glued yesterday - found a section of clean 2X4
for it. Tonight I bored the holes in the caulking gun sides (very easy,
mild steel), cut them to length, and bent them. Should have practiced
the bending on the cut-off bit first, as the legs bent a bit higher than
I had planned. So had to bend one in a bit, to center the rod over the
hole cut in the cross brace. By the way, the piece cut out with the
hole saw would make an excellent wide wheel for a wooden toy.

Found a couple of screws to hold the caulking gun/clamp in place,
big hex head jobs, had to drill pilot holes, and cranked 'em down with a
wrench. Works great. That's not an original idea with me, saw a
picture of something similar a year or so back, and been wanting to try
it with something ever since. Squeeze the handle, and it moves down
and clamps tight. Same mechanism as my quick clamps. Then just push
the little release leaver, and pull up the rod with the other hand. No
prob.

OK, paint poll final results are in. Red. 'Cause that's what I've
got the most of. No bitching about the color, I did ask. LMAO

Somehow, I just don't think that'll fit with JOAT.

OK. Who are you really? The real JOAT paints
everything yellow, so we know you are an imposter.

If you *must* paint it, paint it red.

Lime green with purple gremlins. And the yellow lightning bolts of
course. Definitely classic. You'll be the envy of every husband in the
neighborhood.
