General Int 24" Drum Sander minimum thickness?

Question for any users of the General Int 24" Drum sander, the website
claims the minimum thickness is 1/4", is that just as far as the table
will go? Is this surmountable with a sled of some sort? Comments?

Thanks

Obviously you can always put something in there to contact the drum.
Whether it's the physical limit or the operational limit I don't know,
but don't think it really much matters.

What are you wanting to do? Knowing that might get some useful feedback
on whether it might be feasible or an alternate technique/route to go...
