So does Adelphia, but I don't have alt.binaries.* at all.

I'm using Adelphia's PowerLink which uses Giganews. I have the
"alt.binaries.*" news groups.
The NNTP sever I'm using is "news3.news.adelphia.net".

Better ask Bob - I'm just going by his headers. Path is through
atttbi.com (who owned Comcast, AFAIR) and the organisation says
Comcast. I may easily be wrong though - It's hardly as if I've done
any digging on the real posting route.

Andy, why should he take it up with Comcast? They seem not to be his ISP.
Was there something in a header I missed?
Comcast now contracts with Giganews for news feeds, an improvement over
their previous servers from AT&T Broadband days, for abpw purposes.

My old newsfeed from ATTBI had abpw. They just did the cutover to Giganews
at the beginning of the year.
Evidently, mileage varies.
Patriarch
I have Insight Broadband for my ISP and can not get into abpw.

Not all news servers carry all the groups.

works fine for me from news.west.cox.net.

Take it up with Comcast. ISP's news servers are rarely much good,
and binaries especially so. If you really care, then find a dedicated
Usenet provider (I use Supernews).
