So by your preface then, non-battle deaths are not a tragedy? So those
who have the misfortune to die through non-direct action while serving n
a war zone are so much chaff.

By your "...less than 1000..." I see you subscribe to the Pentagon's
Enron style of casualty accounting which ignores the fact they had not
been in a war zone they would not be dead.

Actual count is three or four hundred higher. 2112 is US military only
and does not reflect government employed civilian contractors. (Also
ignored are the number of our allies KIA).

The most misunderstood category is of course the ~20,000 wounded which
does not differentiate between a few stitches from shrapnel or missing
multiple limbs, still just listed as wounded.

None of which is relevant to this group unless discussed in the context
of wooden coffins or crutches.

FYI: To challenge the Iraq Invasion, they love to label you as anti-war or
"liberal".

I support the Afghanistan Invasion and would support the Invasion of both
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The TRUE nations behind 9/11. Did anybody figure
out why all the Wall St. Limo drivers were Pakistani before 9/11 and gone
after! All the Al Qaeda funding and People especially on the flights
crashing into the WTC and Pentagon all were Saudi's who have more favorable
immigration status.

Iraq was simply the sacrificial lamb. Saddam's army destroyed in 91, he had
no WMD's then anymore then he did now. Notice how they also gone completely
stone dead silent on all the "Mass Graves", The Iraqi's didn't have any real
restrictions on possession of firearms or even have drivers licenses under
Saddam, so if the people were really tortured and unhappy they could have
easily resisted just as they do now! He was against Al Qaeda as much as
America was. Saddam as all Muslims had a problem with the creation of the
Zionist State of Israel parking it's US Nuclear weapons in a region that
wasn't focused on any real arms race until America started selling missiles
to it's own enemy Iran....... or even going back to the support of the Shah
who's blood thirst made Saddam look like a Nation Guard Pilot who wouldn't
fight in Vietnam!

The Middle Eastern Terrorism, that has been allowed to spread fear globally
is a result of either complete and utter failure of our foreign policy or
it's the product of a hidden agenda.

I also object to the crap they have our current soldiers using. Body Armor
that has failed so often and recalled so often after spending only 10's of
Millions, then spends 100's of Millions to a republipuppie to spread "good
news" to the Iraqi's! The use of a Humvee when an APC is SOP!

It's all pure Bullshit!
