I have a theory along the lines of Men in Black. I think it is extra
testerial code. Every now and then some alien's space ship will break
down and they need to send in the order for spare parts. The usenet
is their order form. If you read every thrid post with the same
subject line, and took out every third word you would see that they
are actually in need of a new pulsar energy module as the old one
broke down. I think they learned this code from Vonegut. And if you
read their messages backwords...
Then again I could be all wrong! <g>
