Since you insist - I suppose you to be talking about Rwanda; to which
Bush I sent 25,000 troops in December of 1992, which Clinton I
whittled down to 1200 troops by June of 1993.
I can't speak for the DoD but I would imagine that the 18 Americans
killed at Mogadishu in October of 1993 are included under Pending.

I must confess I wasn't even aware that Bush sent any
troops to Rwanda. I guess the action in Somalia got
all of the publicity.
Do you know how many American Casualties there were in
Rwand,a and from what causes? Were the American
troops all withdrawn before the Civil War began?

I hadn't thought to expand the question to the Navy.
They should have been operating their own picket boats too.
I guess the lesson learned from the Stark is that if you sell weapons
to your enemies it can piss off your allies, extracting them to the
extent that they 'make a mistake' firing Exocets at your ships.

I gather that you consider any action that benefits any Muslim,
including innocent victims of war, appeasement.
Regarding appeasement of radical Islamacists, this is how
the Bush Administration reacted to the intelligence that al
Queda was behind the bombing of the Cole:
"The State Department officially released its annual terrorism report
just a little more than an hour ago, but unlike last year, there's no
extensive mention of alleged terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden. A
senior State Department official tells CNN the U.S. government made a
mistake in focusing so much energy on bin Laden and 'personalizing
terrorism.'"

How many Marines were killed in Lebanon, because under
Ronald Reagan their guards weren't allowed to carry loaded
guns?

I walked 47 miles of barbed wire, use a cobra snake for a necktie
got a brand new house on the roadside, made from rattlesnake hide
got a brand new chimney mate on top, made from a human skull

Faux?
According to your reference (which I believe is correct), total military
deaths 1993-2000 = 7500.
I believe that's exactly what I stated.

(1st site I came across after googling)
The debt has increased since the beginning of time but the curve took
a sharp (compared to previous) upward turn ~1982. It started to level
off in 1994, but took off like a banshee, sharply upward, in 2002 (I
know, 9/11).
Let's play with statistics, shall we...
Disingenuity at it's best. Ruins credibility, ya know.

So how would a different President have resulted in a different number
of deaths?

It wouldn't, but if the political parties involved were reversed, it
would certainly change the rhetoric. For example, if FDR had been a
Republican and Bush a Democrat, modern liberals would claim that the
chicken hawk FDR killed more of our soldiers in a day than Bush did in
an entire war.

Had you bothered to read before reacting, you would have found that

Maybe you ought to go back and study your high school civics again. It would
be very nice if people would wise up to the fact that neither the congress
nor the president alone is responsible for what happens in this country.
It wasn't because of Mr.President that we had a balanced budget. It was a
Republican congress with enough clout to get things done that forced a
balanced budget on this country. If you remember, Mrs. President tried to
get us further in debt with her "Socialistic" health plan. Better get ready
for it again cause I'm sure she'll try to get it back in.
Enough for now. It really doesn't make any difference who is in office. They
will get blamed for everything and credit for everything good no matter
what. All I know is that in the last 8 years, my standard of living has
improved tremendously and no I am not one of the elite rich people.
