JOAT is SPAMMING again

He posts subjects in all caps (denied this, but the proof is in the
posts) and he posts UNSOLICITED WEBSITE URL'S. This is defined as
SPAM.

(Phil=A0Foreskin) who posts his troll posts in this, and several other
newsgroups, claims:
He posts subjects in all caps (denied this, but the proof is in the
posts) and he posts UNSOLICITED WEBSITE URL'S. This is defined as SPAM.

ROTFLMAO You are so silly. Never denied posting subjects in caps.
The claim before was that I POST in caps. That must have been you, in a
previous troll life, right? But, if it really, really, bothers you,
then report me to the group moderator.

Buttercup, Buttercup, Buttercup. One could almost feel sorry for
you - except for the history of your other posts. You really should try
learning some social skills, it would really make your life so much more
fulfilling, and enjoyable.

I don't even need to filter your posts. They are so easy to ignore just
when I go through the newsgroup. And if it wern't you, it would just be
somebody else. It is sort of the circle of life. There will always be
jerks around and that is a fact. Like rude and bade drivers on the
roads. When some grow up and improve, others will take their place. So I
just laugh about it and shrug it off.. After you, somebody else will
come along. That is how pointless your efforts are. How is it going in
the other newsgroups you pollute? Did you chase steve out of rec photo
digital? I hope you find something to boost your self esteem. That means
"self image". Please tell me about all your internet exploits and your
rationale behind them.

Don't get your panties in a wad. I'm glad he posts - I've seen some
great projects that I have tried and hope to try in the future and it
sure saves a lot of time looking. Hope he keeps up the good work.

actually...you are spamming and JOAT is not:

from the Computer Jargon dictionary:
> Originally a name for mass postings to Usenet newsgroups advertising products
> or services, regardless of their relevance to the newsgroup.

from dictionary.com:
> 1. To send unsolicited e-mail to.
> 2. To send (a message) indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals,
or newsgroups.

He was accused of posting in all caps - and correctly denied that.
I've never heard that writing the subject in caps is considered to be
spam (let alone be proof.)

>he posts UNSOLICITED WEBSITE URL'S. This is defined as SPAM.

Taint so. (In fact *many* valid posts include unsolicited URL's.)

IMHO all you've done is shown your own ignorance.

This is a woodworking group. He's posting woodworking urls. People
come here looking for woodworking stuff, therefor his posts are not
unsolicited. Besides, by your definition, anyone who posts a "hey,
what do you think of my latest project? http://..." posting would be
spamming. To consider yours a valid definition of spam here would be
daft.

Besides, if you look up the definition of spam, you'll note that none
of the variants matches what Joat actually does.

1 - no program involved
2 - his messages are generally relevent
3 - he is only sending one of each
4 - likewise
5 - mail is not involved
6 - his posts are neither long nor prolific
