How come we choose from just two people to run for president and 50 for Miss America?

Wouldn't surprise me to find out that it's being done by tree
huggers.

Better than pounding spikes in trees and maybe hurting or killing
loggers, at least. Of course, spikes would probably damage the tree,
even it it wasn't cut down.

I see I'm not the only one who thought of the scene in "Fargo" in
connection with suggestions of punishment inflicted via industrial wood
handling machinery....ROTFLMAO.

action...

A (somewhat theatrical) friend of mine once had the principle of the
Wood-Mizer explained to her.

After which, she immediately expressed a wish to be filmed tied to the
tracks of it, wearing a large Edwardian frock, whilst some Evil
Miscreant in a top hat twirled his moustaches and the feed handle
towards her....
