12 yr old SolarLux NGR Disolved plastic cup

I poured a small amount of SolarLux into a plastic cup and begin applying.
About 5 min into the job the cup sprung a leak. I sat it down to investigate
and in a moment the entire bottom fell out. Just what is in that stuff. It
was 12yrs old but I guess it decomposed into something strong. Any ideas?

I know lacquer thinner eats through plastic. Same result. If you try
cleaning with a toothbrush its not long before it looks like you just
killed a centipede with a stick. A great cleaner, wire brush, cloths. WIll
eat the drain, so run water. Takes off dried paint. Evaporates. Supposed
to work for poly-like finishes. I use it all the time. Especially prior to
painting, or for brass hardware covered in paint.

What kind of "plastic" cup? Styrofoam, plastic drinking cup, etc? Some
plastics don't do well with petroleum distillates, regardless of the age of
the chemical.

Well, according to Woodcraft it can't be shipped by air. Other statements
also seem to indicate it is based on organic solvents. What did it smell
like? Yor words "plastic cup" seem to suggest the cup just dissolved, as
if you had poured acetone or mineral spirits into it.
