If it:
(a) Works
(b) Does something useful you previously couldn't
(c) Doesn't force you to replace it with a new one to solve some problem it
has
(d) Costs less than $10
It's worth the money.

Ok, I get it. But it's still a good tool, and a great price.
Not as portable as the more modern units, but still valuable.
Would be good in your shop.
