Hey All,
This is a little late notice but for you Baltimore area woodworkers
there is an open house at Cayce Company in Cockeysville, just a few
miles north of Baltimore. Tonight and Saturday. see for details;

Sorry, that was unintentional. I won't even try to make a similar
typing mistake for humorous purposes. But reading it now at home I
can see how sensational it could have been..

mistakes)

Hello Dave,
Did you get to Cayce? Did they get their electrical power restored
quickly? I called to ask Brian to set aside some mortising bits and
he told me they lost power during a mid-morning thunder storm. By the
way, the pizza was good on Friday night.

Marc,
I got there around 10. Power came on before 11. I didn't buy much,
just some hardware. I did get a indepth demo of the Festool line
(sanders, drill, Domino & vacs) from Brian and Scott. A very well
thought out line, well engineered and it shows in the price. I guess
you get what you pay for. One interesting thing I noticed is that
they are still charging the 2007 catalog printed prices even though
the Euro conversion should have made the prices go up. I'll bet there
is an increase in the 2008 prices. Anyway, I probably won't take the
Festool plunge until something needs replacing. And even then I will
have to consider the price and the fact that you have to use Festool
supplies.
Take care,
Dave

Actually my tools do that all the time, I suspect my wife's name for my
workbench is "Plan B."

Woodworker A: I've got a workbench out of the finest woods, dovetail
jointery, and the best finishes.
Woodworker B: That's a mighty fine workbench. Kinda a shame to use it
only for woodwork.
Woodworker A: Well, it was going to be a coffee table, but I couldn't get
the corners square, and I took so long my wife went to the store and
bought one!

Hey Marc,
I am wondering up this AM. No plans for a tool purchase today, but will
probably just browse around. I have bought from them before. A good
group of guys.
