Hello All,

Just wanted to invite you to check out our website. We took our hobby
and opened this rec room site at prices that everyone can afford. We
sell everything from popcorn makers, jukeboxes, home bars, etc. I hope
you like it. If you have any suggestions please let me know!

Thanks,

George

that is.

Sheesh, he's posted exactly once, it's not like he's making a nuisance of
himself. Why don't you cut the man some slack?

I had a look at the Google Groups archive... to see if it was actually
spam. I found 6 messages to 6 different unrelated groups. Ok, I
suppose it was spam... but in a most diluted form. I'd say the worst
crime was that such a meager posting is not going to do them much good
at all except ruffle a few easily ruffled feathers.

I'd also bet that they are a perfectly decent small business that
simply took a few clumsy steps trying to promote themselves on the
internet. No harm no foul. No call for high brow comments about "real
company" and "legitimate ways".

My first business was cutting grass when I was 13 and I stuffed
handbills into mailboxes. It was "spam" for the time, was not entirely
"legitimate", plus I think I was in violation of federal law (using
mailboxes for something other than mail). Luckily you weren't in my
neighborhood to straighten me out ;-)

Because he is posting SPAM!

I make it a point to never purchase from anyone/company that spams. If they
are a real company they should use legitimate ways to deliver their message
to their potential customers
