Hard to believe that this is not in 4" tall headlines in every newspaper
in the country:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/35841681#35841681

If this doesn't piss you off, nothing will ...

It's been pissing me off for a couple years now. If you're not angry,
you're not paying attention. Greed. Tom

Great. There better be handcuffs slapped onto a few wrists on
this. Just watched Capitalism a Love Story over the weekend and
wanted to jump off of a bridge after. 'We the people' are expected to
play by the rules, while those making the rules (and by that I mean
lobbyists, not Congress) are having a party with our money.

What's most disturbing is the complicity of the FRB.

IIRC, it was about that time this thread stated that I suggested keeping
an eye on

http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h6/current/

and

http://www.kitco.com/charts/livegold.html

Back then it took USD$722 to buy one ounce of gold on the international
market - and today it takes USD$1107 (and the intrinsic value of gold
has remained essentially constant)...

...and if the Chinese economy wasn't in such a hurt, the wholesale price
of the tools we love to pick on would be 50% more than it is.
