Incr Miter 5000

I have an Incra 3000SE but am interested in the Miter 5000 as a cross-cut
sled. It appears that I could just buy the tables and attach my 3000SE.

I am interested in opinions of the Miter5000, anyone out there use one, if
so, how do you like it?

Russ

Yep, if you already have the 3000SE, what you want is the Incra Miter
Express.

I've had the Incra 5000 for a couple of years now....and love it. Actually,
I've forgotten what it's like to use an ordinary miter gauge and cut-off
sled. The most significant thing I've experienced is the accuracy. When
doing work, I frequently remove the 5000, use the rip fence to rip wood, and
then install the 5000 again....and it' dead-nuts accurate. I don't
remember the last time I used my cut-off sled...either the small one or the
large one.

I like it a lot.

Close but it's not the same. The miter express looks about half the size of the
5000.
