constant distance to fence - L or R-tilt TS?

With the fence to the right of the blade, is it a left or right-tilt TS that has
a constant distance to the fence (almost) regardless of the size of the blade
kerf?

Unless you run your fence on the left side of the blade...

On a right tilt the dado blades stack to the left away from the fence. The
result is that the right side of the stack blades are in the same position
all the time. You can continue to accurately use the rip fence rule.

With left tilt the blades stack towards the fence. With the fence locked
down, the blades change the distance between the outer most right blade and
the fence.

The short answer, right tilt. Theoretically you may have 2 blades that cut
the same size kerf but unless both have the same thickness steel in the body
at the arbor hole, one may actually change the distance between the teeth
and the fence compared to the other.
