Yes, they do. When they get too bad, walk over to the sink and wash
them... or keep a cleaning cloth in your pocket or a drawer somewhere.

This is like sharpening lathe tools. All lathe tools dull, the sooner
you accept that and take the 15-30 seconds to maintain the tool the
happier you'll be.

Air filters help a little, dust collection helps a lot, but your glasses
eventually get dusty no matter what just from the dust in the air. Ever
watched the Vashta Nerada in a light beam in the shop?

Plastic face shields not only attract dust like a magnet, but if left on
there will "cloud" the plastic and impair visibility. And become almost
impossible to wash off later. So keep them clean. Do not allow them to get
dirty. I keep a bottle of rubbing alcohol on the shelf. I grab a paper
towel and some alcohol and scrub. As long as the build up is not too great
or left on there too long, it works just fine. This works well on goggles
too.

Also, have a couple replacement face shields (and goggles) on the shelf
ready to go. It just takes a minute to replace a dirty face shield with a
clean one. And impaired visibility is a factor in accidents and injuries.
Stay safe. Keep your face/eyes protected. Keep your protective eyewear
clean. And replace when necessary. These are consumables. Stock them like
you would sandpaper, saw blades, etc.

Just bought a face sheild and couldn't believe how bad they attract dust. Read a couple blogs on solutions but may have found one myself. Try using a Swifter pad, it cleaned them like brand new

Be carefull of what you use to clean these sheilds. With some shields
made from some plastics can be ruined with the wrong solvent.

not a problem to wipe off the dust

the problem is keeping it off in the first place

keeping the dust off is the real problem

i found some goggles with a wide strap and a foam fit around the
edges

they are not my first choice but will give them a try
