Glue Job

Hi All;
I am going to put veneer on the inside walls of an Airstream trailer.
So I am basically glueing wood to aluminum. Is PL adhesive a good
choice for such a job? Thanks for your time and efforts.

Don

Gluing wood to aluminum will fail, no matter the adhesive. Aluminum expands
and contracts uniformly in all directions based on temperature changes.
Wood movement, diagonal to the grain is more significant the with the grain.

I would suggest making lightweight wood veneer panels and mechanically
fasten them to the aluminum.
