Screwed Again!

Been waiting all through '04 for the '04 season of New Yankee Workshop to
appear on Discovery Home and Leisure (Europe), not a damn thing, only
re-runs. Then last week new ads. appear for the NYW.
I check the website, yep the '04 season starts today. I tune up the VCR, get
the snacks and a cold one ready for the off, double check the listings again
just in case, yep it's the "The Butterfly Table". 2-30 comes, I hit the
record button, Oh f@#$ it , the bloody planters bench again.

I bloody hate Discovery H & L when they do this. Screwed again

Mick (A confirmed Normite)

I'm with you on that one micheal. I remember them promising to show
certain one and it turning out entirly different. I like the NYW even
though I'm not a cabient or furniture maker. I like it for the
techniques i learn, unfortunatly with so many repeats i know them by
heart.

My cable luckily carries two PBS stations so I can watch Norm 'live' =
(latest season) on Sat & Sun. The other channel it is on is Home & =
Garden TV or HGTV. They used to have Norm on every morning then cut it =
back to weekends; now HGTV only has it on Sunday morning.

I wrote HGTV to complaign and received a cookie-cutter, elected =
official, form letter reply.

When you and they say "new" series, is it really "new" or is that the
series hasn't been shown in the UK before and is still some years behind
the series in the states?
