That's really odd - you're the second person to mention the particle
board, but I just checked back and the listing still shows 5/8" 'thik'
plywood - mentioned in the title and in the body of the listing.
Probably worth a call for someone to verify. If I were building a
house, I'd grab it for a nice upgrade/downprice for the roof and wall
sheathing.

I guess I could build 600 snooker tables or ping pong tables.
How about one 2400 yard mini-putt course.

Just like the guy with 20 large apartments worth of Brazilian cherry for
2 bucks a square feel, these deals are never where you need them to make
the better buck, and even if they were, the time between spec to hunt
and gather to install can be huge.

To tell you the sort of day I've been having, I cleared my cookies and
not my cache. Hoo boy.

Big difference between particle board and plywood... Still a deal -
big sheet 5/8" at $5 would tickle a cabinet shop.

Check the Craigslist listing and it now says particle board, not
plywood. Still a great price if it's in decent condition - maybe
we'll hear from someone who has bought some.

If that stuff was close by, I'd scarf up about 100 sheets right now.
I'd finish out the shop interior and bank the rest.
Wonder how someone ends up with that much surplus of a special order
product?

Read the ad very carefully. The one here says "plywood" but the on
one Craigslist says "plywood" in the header and "particle board" in
the body. If it was plywood I'd be sorely tempted to rent a truck and
take a drive over, but for particle board, nahhh. . . .
