That's funny. It always gets me, these for sale posts. If I go sell
something I am lucky to get 1/3 of the origonal price. Lately it seems I
have to give it away.

Fred I think it was buzzed off for woodcraft.Of course it looks like it
came down the same line as my Delta but this one is nicer. (Ditto) for
Jet. Such as the crank wheel. And I don't see Delta or Jet putting in
their ads; who the real manufacturer was. Ashamed is a bit too much of
a word to use I think. On the other hand, the used prices of stuff
posted here are frequently within 80 percent of new. And sometimes
equal. What is this? ebay???
It is a very common practice what you see here. When you get some
experience in shopping tools you will realize that it is not the vendors
who are ashamed of their product or manufacturer, as you suggest.

I see no indication of brand name or manufacturer. It looks to green to
be Delta. I'm hesitant about buying a product when the vendor is so
ashamed of the manufacturer that they won't identify it in the ad.

I know there are a variety of reasons why vendors don't identify the
manufacturers for their product line. One reason is that they
may have the same item in stock made by more than one manufacturer.
I prefer to chide them on the practice.
