box set rate is $5.00. Please inquire for other combinations and for International
rates.
Payment

Technical Specifications
I use industrial grade high carbon steel. It is processed as required and then sent
out for professional heat treatment. This process is performed in atmosphere
controlled ovens to prevent surface carbon burn off. It is superior to backyard
torching and provides product quality and consistency. After treating, blades are
fully sharpened using water wheels to prevent scorching. The resulting blades are
superior to original products in that they have higher grade steel and they are
harder. They will hold their edge longer than originals and will perform better.
Guarantee
I started making blades because I was a woodworker who was frustrated with the
lack of quality blades for my planes. Numerous user testimonials attest to the
quality of these products. Accordingly, all blades have a satisfaction guarantee.
If you are not happy, send them back for replacement or refund. Woodworking
should be fun. Enjoy your time in the shop making shavings!

It's accepted practice here to post occasional FS or auction items, and
in fact is often quite apppreciated. Check the archives.

The alt.woodworking groups are very new, mostly reviled and ignored by
the regulars here because of the way they were created and as full of
off-topic crap as you'd expect in the alt.* hierarchy.

All the good stuff is here...

You can post items for sale every couple of weeks. It's customary
to put FS in the subject line so that people know what's coming.
Thanks for the listing, maybe not as good a blade as Ron Hock's,
but about 1/2 the price.

alt.woodworking.marketplace or other similar ng's would be much more
appropriate.

I'm not into posturing and testosterone. Mine was a simple answer
to the question, K's was more of his bad manners and trolling. If
he wasn't quoted, I'd never have to hear of him.

you. This is rec.woodworking ,,...this is not a commercial newsgroup.
That means no selling or promoting your own business.

He (Jim) is probably using his conscience about spamming the NG here...
feels it's wrong, otherwise he would. But I have zero problems sharing
a terrific resource many others here (no doubt) do not know about, some
regular prices too, for rare stuff along those old neander lines.

If he is an eBay seller, why didn't he just post it himself? He must have
internet access, right?

Now that's a new twist on SPAM, calling it a resource.

Not a flame - just an observation. You can damn well post anything you want
here - everybody else does.

These cutters will be as good and better as anyones HCS stuff, and higher tech
hardened than St. James Bay tool co. where they heat with torches, as I was told
by them on the 'phone. Jim sends the metal out to be hardened and tempered in
atmosphere controlled ovens. Jim just isn't doing A2.

If you want A2 for cheaper, take a look at Spehar Tool Works, Canada, good
deals and US priced. Even a 2-5/8" (fricken!) #8 blade for $31. Their smoother
is an awesome price too. http://www.spehar-toolworks.com/index.html

4ax just happens to be the message identification used by one of the
best newsreaders for usenet - Forte Agent. The concept of "4ax.com" as
a host of spam/trolls is incorrect.

MM, well, the wreck doesn't have a charter (or even a real FAQ) so when
it comes right down to it there aren't any rules, least not anything you
can quote when placing a complaint to an ISP, which largely rules out
abuse complaints outside of the ISP's TOS, which is often couched in
terms of the newsgroup charter....you begin to see the issue. The OP is
a good poster and deserves a little leeway anyway.

Short story: Against Usenet convention, yes, rules, no.
