This is old news!

The electric hand driers in the public bathrooms are a direct result of
this technology. The paper industry has been cut short of product due
to the square tree at the saw mill leaving very little paper and pulp.
The natural place to take up the shortage was paper towel dispensers in
public washrooms.

Seems like a stupid idea, but I had a college friend whose dad was a
tomato farmer. He had several acres of experimental tomatoes with
bizarre shapes, colors and flavors. One test, no kidding, was
cube-shaped tomatoes for better packing.
