Hey folks,
Michael Burns, the director the College of the Redwoods finewoodworking
program (founded by Jim Krenov, who is now retired) is doing a 2 week course
at Rosewood Studio. Mike taught with Krenov at CR since '81, until Krenov's
recent retirement.
If you're a neander, and want to fine tune some hand tool skills, and get a
real "feel" for things, he's one of the coolest dudes around. A great guy
to work with, and a wealth of knowledge.
The folks at Rosewood Studio, have the course he's teaching, described as a
"fine boxes" course, which is a bit of a misnomer. Almost anything goes,
within reason for a 2 week period.
Check out www.rosewoodstudio.com (their calendar has the course dates)
Cheers,
