Murphy bed hardware supplier

I am in the market, and was wondering if anyone has had a good
experiance with a supplier of the hardware mechanism? I am not looking
for the cheapest, I want one that works and will continue to work over
time. I plan to build a wall unit around it. Rockler has them (and
they are right in the area) but here are many others online too.

Thanks, Mike Coonrod

Lee Valley carries them. I bought, but haven't built yet.

This is from a post I responded to on Aug 8:

I assume you are talking about a Murphy bed system. I just purchased the
hardware and plans for one of these. I can say anything more than that at
this point, because it has not arrived yet, but the system we purchased was
from Create-A-Bed. Their website is www.wallbed.com. The guy we talked to
was Dale Burchett ([email protected]) and their phone number is 877-966-3852.

Cheers,
Eric

Others have had real good things to say about this company and Mr Burchett.
Worth a look. I believe the hardware may be the same as what is in Rockler,
but don't quote me on that.
