O/T: One for the Old Guys

Coming up 18, The British Open, golf's oldest tournament, was Tom
Watson's to lose.

At 59, he was giving the performance of his life, having lead at the
end of every round.

Players less than half his age, had been chasing Waston all week.

Land his approach iron on the 18th green, then two putts, and it would
be all over.

A tournament he had not won since 1977 would be his again.

But that was not to be.

His one shot lead evaporated when he 3 putted 18 and tied Stewart
Cink.

A 4 hole playoff followed.

Finally the tank was empty.

Watson had left it all on the first 72 holes, Cink easily won the
playoff.

This was one for the old guys.

Watson's performance shall not be soon forgotten.
