The jews are not to be considered the "chosen people" anymore.
There was a time when jews were considered to be the chosen people of
God. Since then, Our Lord Jesus Christ has come to save the world.
Anyone who still considers themselves a jew in a mortal sinner and
will be condmened to hell for eternity unless they accept Jesus. The
same applies to muslims, and other non-believers.
So I should accept YOU as the authority and source of all truth, and
follow your every word? ....

.
.
. .... Maybe not. I think I will stick with my God who told me to
love all. Your story does not sound like love. It has the smell of
something else. I do hope you don't really believe what you writing seems
to indicate.

First I would like to say thank you for your compliment on my Biblical
knowledge. But, I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as I would like to be
and pray always that my searching and re-searching my Bible to make
certain I'm delivering the truth is done as God wants it to be done.
With that said, I'll attempt to respond to your post. And please know
that I am doing so only after considerable prayer and searching the
Bible.
Second I need to apologize for not being clear in what I was saying. I
think it's important at this point to mention that there are some very
important differences that need to be recognized. First, being of "The
House of Israel" does not make someone a Jew and being a Jew does not
make someone become part of "The House of Israel". One is a bloodline
and the other is a faith or religion as many refer to it. We also
need to consider the following before moving on.
1. Jesus himself was born a Jew into "The House of Israel".
2. Jesus instructed his disciples to first share the Gospel with "the
lost sheep of the house of Israel", and
3. Only after "the lost sheep of the House of Israel" rejected the
gospel were they to offer it to the gentiles.
Jesus never spoke to or taught a Christian, because there were no such
people at the time he lived. Everything he taught was taught to the
"The House of Israel", in particular his disciples who were the first
to be reclaimed. It was always a part of God's plan that the people of
Israel be held responsible for delivering the message of his salvation
to the world. It was their rejection of his message that caused them
to temporarily lose their right to the Promised Land and be divided
and spread across the earth and that caused the gospel message to be
delivered to the Christians.
This is evidenced in that Jesus taught that there were other sheep,
"not of this fold" who would hear his voice and between "his followers
in The House of Israel" and this other fold they would make "one
flock" (John 10:16). This brings us to where we find the difference
between "Israel" and "The Church". Jesus was speaking of the gentiles
who heard his message, believed in him and spread his word. This
"fold" of gentiles has come to be known as Christians and although we
are a part of God's plan to spread His word throughout the world we
are not God's chosen people of Israel, but neither are all Jews. But
much of what is required in fulfilling God's plan has to be
accomplished by the Jewish people in The House of Israel.
Now, that brings us to the fact that never in all of His teachings
were Jews instructed or commanded to denounce themselves as "The House
of Israel". But, since the time of Jesus Christ, those even of "The
House of Israel" who hold to the old laws of sacrifice, and reject
that Jesus was the final sacrifice (the Messiah) will not be admitted
to the Kingdom of Heaven even though they may be used to fulfill
prophecy. After all of this, I guess what it amounts to is that those
Jewish people of "The House of Israel" who've accepted the salvation
of Jesus Christ prior to His return do in fact become part of "The
Flock" or "The Church" and will be counted among the multitude but
they are no less a part of "The House of Israel" and those who do not
will not be redeemed. As harsh as that sounds, this is the TRUTH.
There will also be many more of the Jewish People of "The House of
Israel" inside The Holy Land who accept the gospel of Jesus Christ
after the Church has been ruptured (114,000 to be exact) and they will
go out to spread the gospel to the world. But that is getting much
more into prophecy concerning the two witnesses and I'm not sure I
should get into that at this point.

The "Chosen People" are those people foolish enough to believe there is some
pixie in the sky.
Cindy--
Jesus appeared unto me in the viewfinder of my Kiev 88 this evening during a
thunderstorm and asked me to relay the following message to you:
"Please tell Cindy Duncan to stop cross-posting (no pun intended -- the son
of God indeed has a sense of humor) and stop acting like a zombie Bible
freak."
He suggested maybe trying a new hobby or perhaps running for Governor of
California.
Then he told me to immediately process the film in the camera and pass along
His message.
Unfortunately all the frames are overlapping and I can't make any sense of
it.
