"Robert" is a troll <big surprise>. He does not have an issue with you, it
is with the wreck, he chooses popular members or issues to cause a ruckus
then sits back and has a giggle at our expense. His name today is "Robert",
tomorrow - who knows?
What he wants is a lengthy thread to laugh at, that is why he will drag
things out, then when it appears about to die off, he throws in something
new. He is very good at this.
Consider this:
- "Robert" has the archive bit turned off in his posts, check Google,
everyone responding to him seems to be arguing between themselves.
- "Robert" chooses a popular target (yourself), then brands any support as
"groupies" (does the term "miscreants" ring any bells?) and drags them in
too.
- "Robert" will drag in others by accusing other popular or respected
figures eg, the "fire chief" story, dragging the story
- he baits his responses to elicit a reply (bigger threads).
Rob, if not you, it would be someone else. In fact, Charlie Self and Keith
Bohn have been targets of what I suspect is the same person. If not the same
person, then certainly the same techniques.

Doesn't really matter - anonymous trolls are interchangable. Distinction
between them is insignificant. It's not like they're hard to recognize.

No worries here... I don't expect that most people put much stock in the
ranting and ravings of anonymous posters. Normally, I don't feed trolls -
but do feel I have to correct mis-information, if only for the few that
haven't pegged the OP for what he/she is.
