Mavel 62 Plunge Router

I have seen an advertisement for the Marvel 62 Variable Speed 3 hp Plunge
Router. Does anyone have any information regarding this particular router.
I have limited funds and need to know if it is worth the money or should I
save for something else. If I should save my money for some other plunge
router, please let me know what your choice would be. I'm looking for a 3
hp plunge router.

Thanks

Never, owned one, but there are several name brand routers with good
reputations in that price range or cheaper. The Hitachi M12V is one. Check
Amazon.com. The price of the M12V was as low as $150 last week. And you
can apply coupons from $20 to $30 off. Right now it is $160 with $20 off
and free shipping you can get it for $140. Good deal if you ask me. I was
very tempted last week to pull the trigger. But I bought the Besseys
already.

Not to beat up anyone's brand, but it sure looks like the Chinese
router I got for 49$. And I've noticed in searches that mine comes
under a variety of names with a different box. Not saying they are
good or bad, but mine seems to be holding up. For 49$ I'm not ready
to complain - yet.

If you are looking for a 3horsepower router, you will have to look at 230
volt machines. Not to common.
