Joining floor joists


The Joists will rest on top of the wall and it's a solid brick wall, one
skin thick.

Typically then the joists are cut a bit overlong, like 7.3 m.
Then they are staggered so that they overlap on top of the
top plate of the wall, nailed to each other and to the top
plate.
